PORTABLE URODYNAMICS MONITORING SYSTEM USING MOBILE DEVICE

A portable bladder monitoring method using a mobile device is provided to monitor a patient's bladder function in a remote place by using the mobile device such as a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) or a mobile phone. A portable bladder monitoring method using a mobile device includes the steps of: collecting bio-signals generated during urine collection and urination of a bladder by a sensor unit; measuring data required for a bladder function test from the collected bio-signals by a signal pre-processing unit(20); allowing a user to monitor the measured data through the mobile device by a control unit(40) remotely; and storing and managing the measured data by a server unit(50). The bio-signals are a bladder pressure signal, an abdominal electromyogram signal, and an impedance signal inside the urethral canal.
