The present invention relates to a novel polymorphic form of N-piperidino-5-(4-chlorophenyl)-l-(2, 4- dichlofhenyl)-4-methyl-3-pyrazolecarboxamide and to novel methods for its preparation. More particularly the invention relates to the preparation of a novel anhydrous form of N-piperidino-5-(4- chlorophenyl)-l-(2, 4-dichlofhenyl)-4-methyl-3-pyrazolecarboxamide, hereinafter called form III, and to pharmaceutical compositions thereof.
