<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development support device of a programmable controller (PLC) system capable of shortening time required for finding out a cause of communication abnormality when the communication abnormality occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The PLC system comprises networks including a plurality of PLCs and a development support device. One of the PLCs is set as a PLC for relay, and the development support device can be online-connected to the PLC for relay via a communication line. Each of the plurality of PLCs including the PLC for relay holds first information including a network address of the first network wherein a target PLC exists, a network address of a PLC at the first relay point of a path to the final network with the PLC as a start point, and a node address of the PCL at the first relay point, and second information including a unit ID of a communication unit mounted on the PLC and a network address of a network to which the communication unit is connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
