The connector has locking devices for horizontal and vertical locking and formed at longitudinal edges (2, 4) or front sides (6, 8) of a floor panel (1). The locking devices are brought in engagement with each other by bending the floor panel, and a locking lug (12) is formed at the panel. A catch lug (14) extends over a partial area of the longitudinal edges or the front sides of the panel, and a locking part is formed by a circumference wall of a window (18). The locking lug or the catch lug extends through the locking part in a locked condition.
