PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a halogen bulb fitted with an infrared ray reflecting film of which the temperature rising when turned on can be suppressed. SOLUTION: The halogen bulb (1) has a filament (3) pitched in a light emitting tube (10a). An infrared ray reflecting a film formation region (P) is at least between the line (S) orthogonal to a center line (CL) of a light emitting portion (3a) from the end (Q) of the light emitting portion (3a) of the filament (3) and intersections with the outer surface of the light emitting tube part (10a).
