PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device and an authentication method and a program for authentication for reducing the leak of personal information.

SOLUTION: This authentication device 2 is provided with an authentication management means 22 for generating an authentication information management table by combining a user identifier, user password, and information for authentication associated with the user identifier and the user password by each of which it is not possible to specify a user; a user identifier comparing means 23 for comparing the user identifier acquired from the user terminal for user authentication with the user identifier included in the authentication information management table; and an authentication information comparing means 24 for comparing the information for authentication acquired from the user terminal for user authentication with the information for authentication included in the authentication information management table based on the result of the user identifier comparing means 23.
