PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus generating no flaw at the final bed of a gas hearth compound curvature glass sheet forming apparatus, without losing simplicity in the level controlling operation at the final bed during product change, and capable of keeping a high production efficiency. SOLUTION: This bending apparatus of glass sheet for producing a compound curvature glass sheet, has a bed shape having an average height level from the inlet of the bed to the center of the inlet end and the outlet end of the bed where there is a height level displacement point, and from the displacement point to the outlet end it has a curved shape and its transport surface gradually decreases in its height level, and the bottom surface of the bed is laid on the bed support of a heating furnace and the final bed is not slanted upward but laid to the direction of transport or slanted downward from the direction of transport.
