<p>A machine (10) for excavating, including a lower frame (12) which mounts a pair of driveable wheels (14) at a first end of said frame (12), and a non-drivable wheel assembly (16) at an opposite second end of said frame (12), there being a structure (26) by which the machine (10) may be towed provided by said frame (12) at the second end, said frame (12) also carrying a power source (32) for driving said wheels (14), and a fluid pump driven by the power source (32), and the machine (10) including an upper frame (34) with an operator's seat (36), said frame (34) being rotatable relative to said frame (12), and said frame (34) providing, at a position in front of said seat (36), a working arm (40) including a first arm part (42) which is pivotal about a first horizontal axis B, and a second arm part (44) which is pivotal about a second horizontal axis C, and the second arm part (44) carrying a working implement (52) wherein for towing of the machine (10), the non-drivable wheel assembly (16) is raised out of contact with the ground.</p> |
