PURPOSE: A tape cutting apparatus and a method for cutting a tape using the same are provided to prevent the damage of circuit patterns by improving the structure of a correction unit for correcting a position of tape and the structure of a cutting unit for cutting the tape. CONSTITUTION: A tape cutting apparatus includes a supply unit(32), a correction unit(33), a fixing unit(35), and a cutting unit(36). The supply unit(32) is used for supplying a tape. The correction unit(33) includes a non-contact sensor and a processor in order to measure and correct a position of the supplied tape. The fixing unit(35) fixes the position of the tape in order to prevent a position change of tape. The cutting unit(36) is installed on an upper part and a lower part of the tape. The cutting unit(36) includes one or more cutting blade in order to cut the fixed tape. The cutting blades include an inclined blade. |
