PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an distribution type optical fiber sensor capable of accurately measuring distortions due to hydraulic pressure. SOLUTION: The distribution type optical fiber sensor comprises a tube, an optical fiber for detecting hydraulic pressure distortion arranged around the outer circumference of the tube, a large number of spherical bodies provided for the optical fiber for detecting hydraulic pressure distortion in such a way as to be in contact, and an optical fiber for detecting self-weight distortion embedded in a wall thickness of the tube.
