PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine capable of further increasing interest in a game by giving variation to the opening/closing operation of variable prize winning means in generating a profitable state. SOLUTION: The pinball game machine includes pattern display means 30 variably displaying game patterns on condition that a starting means 24 detects a game ball, and profitable state generating means 59 generating a profitable state of changing the variable prize winning means from a closed state into an open state, once or more times on the basis that stop patterns after variation of the pattern display means 30 are in a predetermined big win mode. The pinball game machine further comprises a plurality of variable prize winning means 25L, 25R, and open pattern determining means 58 for determining the open patterns of the plurality of variable prize winning means 25L, 25R in the profitable state once or more times.
