The method involves screen printing an article i.e. ceramic body (7), with an adhesive (6), and flocking the article in an electrical field. An outer surface of the article is furnished with filigree lines, forms, writings and symbols. The adhesive is applied on a screen printing model in a screen printing machine. A web (3) is coated with an ultraviolet (UV)-light sensitive emulsion that serves as a copier layer. A mask is disposed corresponding to a printed image to ensure even flow of the adhesive to the printed image.
