The method involves handing wearing parts with a length greater than 3000 millimeters over an entire width of a material web-manufacturing machine. Each part of the machine with a larger length than the wearing parts is brought for elongated transportation packing to the machine. The transportation packing is utilized and brought to a position of a respective wearing part during mounting of the wearing part into the machine. The wearing part is moved from the transportation packing into another position.
