<p>A method for transmitting multicast information, includes the following steps: determining multicast information attribute value pair corresponding to a session according to the session requirement by a Diameter server or a Diameter client, and transmitting the multicast information of the session in a Diameter message carrying the specified multicast information attribute value pair. The above method can realize transmission of the multicast information between entities supporting the Diameter protocol. A method for authorizing multicast service is provided, which can realize authorization of the multicast service between peer-to-peer terminals supporting Diameter protocol based on the above set multicast information attribute value pair. A system for transmitting multicast information and a system for authorizing multicast service are provided.</p> |
