<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defoaming agent which prevents a low-acid drink of pH 4.6 to 6.9, represented by coffee or tea, from developing bubbles caused by air entrainment in production processes, or by shakes after production, and also prevents any beverage with the agent from jetting out of the container at the time of opening, and provide beverages using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This deforming agent for beverages contains a polyglycerol fatty acid ester of which polyglycerol has an average polymerization degree of 2 to 20, and behenic acid as its major constituting fatty acid, having a saponification value of 110 to 160. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
