PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methane fermentation treatment method which can grasp of the state of a methane fermentation and achieve a stabilization of the methane fermentation even if a property change of an organic waste is great. SOLUTION: An amount of gas generated during a first batch period is measured with a gas flow meter F2 in a fermentation tank 25 for carrying out the methane fermentation. A supplying amount of an organic waste (a first supplying amount) supplied to the fermentation tank 25 during the batch period is measured with a measuring device F1 in a second batch followed by the first batch. Further, the amount of gas generated during the second batch period is also measured with the gas flow meter F2, and a real measured value is compared with an estimated value and a real measured value of the generated gas generated in the first batch to determine the supplying amount of the organic waste in a third batch followed by the second batch.
