PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure smooth rotation of a turntable (20) even during an early stage of the rotation of the turntable (20) or when the rotation direction is reversed, downsize an entire device, and further prevent complication in structure to suppress an increase in cost. SOLUTION: A turntable device includes the turntable (20) for mounting a workpiece, a rail member (29) formed in a circle or arc coaxial with the rotary axis of the turntable (20) and integrally rotating with the turntable, a pair of driving rollers (5a) and (5b) for pinching the rail member, a driving motor (4) for rotating one of the driving rollers (5a), and a pair of inverting rollers mounted on roller shafts of the respective driving rollers (5a) and (5b) for transmitting the rotation of the driving motor (4) to the other driving rollers (5b) and (5a).
