PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system for a token game machine, which is capable of detecting an illegal game in real time. SOLUTION: A monitoring processor 43 receives a signal of the number of tokens used for a game output from a control device in the game machine to an external monitoring control system 40, a signal of the number of tokens put out for the game output from the control device in the game machine to a token put-out machine, and count signals from a throw-in counter 41 and a put-out counter 42, computes the number of credit by an expression of the actual thrown-in number - the game used number + the game result put-out number - the actual put-out number of tokens, determines the game to be normal when the number of credit is within a set range, and determines the game to be illegal when the number of credit is outside the set range.
