PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup type vending machine, capable of preventing scattering or the like of a beverage discharged into a cup placed in a stable attitude without contaminating the outer circumferential surface of the cup in a saved space or placing an excessive load on a part used. SOLUTION: When a cup delivering part 12 of a cup feeder 10 performs cup delivering operation, a cup C stored in a cup storage part 11 is guided by and fallen in a cup shoot 13, held by a pair of cup holding arms 21 of a cup holding device 20 which is waiting just under the cup delivery part 12 and the cup shoot 13, and placed on a bend stage 14. The cup holding device 20 moved by driving a movement drive unit 29 and stopped when the opening of the cup C reaches just below a beverage discharge port 32b of a beverage nozzle 32, and the beverage is charged into the cup C.
