<p>The invention relates to a method for controlling the distribution and the use of digital multimedia files made of binary data blocks based on an original format and separated into at least two portions, characterised in that it comprises the step of transmitting, from a conditions-of-use server, preference parameters for the partial or total reconstruction of said original file on a terminal. The invention also relates to a device for the controlled distribution and use of digital multimedia files separated into at least two portions, and for implementing the method according to any of claims 1 to 19, that comprises at least one preference parameter server and a reconstruction server, characterised in that it comprises a device for transmitting said preference parameters for the total or partial reconstruction of said original on any server.</p> |
