A hanger for supporting a ceiling material is provided to improve forming property by using a material thinner than the existing fixing support, to double bearing capacity, to improve the quality, and to heighten credibility, stability and safety. A hanger for supporting a ceiling material comprises an anchor bolt(3) for various installations, a fastening socket(2) inserted to the anchor bolt and moving upward and downward, and a fixing support(1) having fastener sections and a channel section. The channel section of the fixing support enables to be pressed in various shapes according to the shape of a ceiling material, and the fastener sections of the fixing support adhered closely to the anchor bolt and fastened to the fastening socket have teeth same as the anchor bolt to have the effect of the fixing support inserted between nuts inserted to the anchor bolt and to improve fixing property.
