A method and a system for obtaining real time broadcast supplementary information using the wireless Internet are provided to allow a broadcast station to receive the viewers' needs by providing a different type of information providing route and increase the friendliness of the broadcast station. A broadcast station transmits a connection request message for registering broadcast information to a broadcast supplementary information service system(201). Upon receiving the message, the broadcast supplementary information service system transmits a connection response message(202). When the broadcast station and the broadcast supplementary information service system are connected, a server of the broadcast station transmits the name of a broadcast program, a broadcast time, and supplementary information, through a registration request message(203). The broadcast supplementary information service system transmits a registration result message(204). This process is repeated until there is no more broadcast information service to be registered(205), and such interworking is terminated by a final connection termination request message(206) and a response message(207).
