A method for authenticating an authentication data input device to prevent leakage of a password is provided to display an irregularly changed value to each button position of a data input unit while irregularly changing a button data value assigned to the data input unit to prevent a third person from remembering/stealing the password. A plurality of number display units(301a) display a number to each button for inputting a password. A variable display unit(301) is formed by arranging the number display units at predetermined intervals. A data input unit(302) comprises a plurality of buttons(302a), and is installed close to the variable display unit by corresponding to each number display unit of the variable display unit. The variable display unit comprises a plurality of an FND(Flexible Number Display) or an LCD.
