A FREE-CUTTING COPPER ALLOY

摘要

A free-cutting copper alloy is provided to improve degree of recovery of copper by mixing a predetermined amount of calcium to the copper, thereby capable of recycling the copper. A free-cutting copper alloy comprises 59~79 wt% of Cu, 0.1~1.5 wt% of Ca, and a residual quantity of Zn. The metal compound including Ca and Cu is mixed in copper alloy material, thereby capable of improving cutting formability.
