A ceramic filter is provided to improve filtration function, maintain the water purification quantity, and enable backwashing of the filter by constructing the filter in an asymmetric multi-layer structure, and further improve antibacterial function by improving the nanosilver particle coating process and additionally introducing antibacterial balls, a manufacturing method of the ceramic filter is provided, and a water purification system using the ceramic filter is provided. As a cylindrical multilayer ceramic filter, an asymmetric multi-layer ceramic filter comprises: a cylindrical ceramic supporting layer: and at least one ceramic coating layer deposited on a surface of the ceramic supporting layer, wherein an average pore size of an outer layer is 1/5 to 1/20 of that of an inner layer adjacent to the outer layer, an outermost layer has an average pore size of 40 nm to 0.2 mum, and each layer of the ceramic filter comprises nanosilver particles distributed in the entire volume of the layer. The ceramic supporting layer has an average pore size of 25 to 35 mum, and the ceramic coating layer comprises a first ceramic coating layer with an average pore size of 2 to 3 mum and a second ceramic coating layer with an average pore size of 0.1 to 0.2 mum. The asymmetric multi-layer ceramic filter further comprises a surface layer deposited on the surface of the second ceramic coating layer, the surface layer having an average pore size of 45 to 55 nm. Further, the ceramic supporting layer is formed by extrusion molding and the ceramic coating layer is formed by slip casting.
