The component (1) has a flat strip (3) in the shape of an annular segment and carrying marks or representations (3') forming graphical elements of a graduated scale. A support piece forms a mounting and clamping frame (4) under constraint in a curved configuration of the strip. The strip is curved in order to form a truncated tubular structure in an assembled position on the frame. The strip and the piece are made of thermoplastic material. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating an analog indicator or indication instrument.
