#CMT# #/CMT# The device has impulsive sensors (5) arranged at an interior of a cabin (1) of a material handling vehicle and operated by an operator or driver of the vehicle. A normally opened sensor (2) and a normally closed sensor (3) are provided to form contact for closing a door of the cabin. Two processing units are integrated in a CPU (4) for processing signals transmitted from the sensors (2, 3). The CPU authorizes or blocks operations of a forwarding and transmitting system (7), and a hydraulic system (8) or an actuating system of the vehicle based on signals received from the sensors. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device for controlling a material handling vehicle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The arrangement of the device permits to manufacture the device in an inexpensive and simple manner, and to eliminate the possibility of failure of the sensors. The configuration of the normally opened and closed sensors permits to indicate a closed state of the door of the cabin in an efficient and reliable manner.
