A switch box is provided to prevent power failure or damage to electrical devices due to an arbitrary operation of a stranger by exposing the distribution board only in use. A switch box includes a case(10), a switch box unit(20), a shielding plate(30), an extinguisher, and a moving unit(40). The case contains the switch box unit, the extinguisher, and the moving unit and has an opening in the center of a front side thereof. The switch box unit is embedded in the case and reciprocates inside the case to be exposed through the opening. The shielding plate has an extinguisher space and a door for opening and closing the extinguisher space, is fixed on the switch box unit, and reciprocates in the case. The extinguisher is separably contained in the extinguisher space. The moving unit moves the switch box unit and the shielding plate. |
