<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing which can rotate the bearing stably over a long period of time with excellent creep-proof performance by preventing an elastic material existing between a rotary ring and a fixed part from sliding along the rotary ring. <P>SOLUTION: The rolling bearing includes the rotary ring (inner ring) 2 into which a rotary part can be fitted, a stationary ring (outer ring) 4 which can be fitted into the fixed part, and two or more rolling elements 6 incorporated so as to roll freely between the rotary ring and the stationary ring. A creep prevention mechanism Cp is provided at least on the peripheral surface 4 m of the stationary ring which is fitted into the fixed part. The creep prevention mechanism includes at least one recess 14 which is formed by recessing a part of the surface in a concave form, and the elastic material 16 which can be fitted to the recess and which has elasticity.
