<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit in which a motor and gears are prevented from being scratched or deformed even if the drive unit is detached from an apparatus main body and placed on a floor or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The drive unit 24 is constituted by arranging the motor 26 and the plurality of gears G1 to G4 on a metal plate 25, wherein a bent part 25a is formed by bending one side of the metal plate 25 almost at right angle, while the metal plate 25 has a projection 25b projecting straight without being bent in a direction toward the bent part 25a, and the motor 25 is attached to the face of the metal plate 25, the face being opposite from the face formed with the bent part 25a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
