<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve overall efficiency by regulating the arrangement position of a reactor. <P>SOLUTION: A motor driver for a motor-driven turbo charger 1 is provided with a permanent magnet synchronous motor 2 and a turbo charger 3 which form the motor-driven turbo charger, a voltage booster circuit 5a which receives the power supply of a DC power source 4, the reactor 6 through which all currents inputted and outputted from the DC power source 4 pass, an inverter circuit 7 which inputs an output of the voltage booster circuit 5a, and a capacitor 8 connected to the output side of the voltage booster circuit 5a and/or the input side of the inverter circuit 7. An output of the inverter circuit 7 is supplied as a motor-driving current to each phase of the permanent magnet synchronous motor 2 to drive the motor. In this motor driver Ea, the reactor 6 is directly attached to a mounting member, on which power semiconductor portions 9 included in the voltage booster circuits 5a are mounted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
