PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition having inhibitory actions on a blood glucose level increase and to further provide a food and drink or a quasi-drug or a pharmaceutical comprising the composition.

SOLUTION: The composition inhibiting the blood glucose level increase comprises an ingredient of the genus Actinidia [kiwi fruit (Actinidia chinensis)] of the family Actinidiaceae. The food and drink or the quasi-drug or the pharmaceutical comprises the composition.
