PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently confirm change positions and change contents of a screen for monitoring and control and to reduce connection error to an object to be monitored and controlled.

SOLUTION: A screen maintenance support device for a monitoring and control device includes: a means which inputs position table data showing positions in a transmission format of objects to be monitored and controlled; a means which inputs screen format data for monitoring and control using a display device; a means which associates coordinates of components of the target objects to be displayed in a screen, in the screen format data on the basis of the inputted position table to generate screen data; a screen comparison means which extracts changed positions of component coordinates associated with the positions among positions of current and previous screen data; and an output means which outputs the extracted positions and change contents.
