PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that there is a possibility that light (transmitted light) transmitted through a waterproof housing or light (strobe light) from a built-in stroboscope in a camera is reflected on the transmission window of the waterproof housing and made incident on a photographic lens to cause a phenomenon such as flare or ghost on a photographed image. SOLUTION: A port 20 formed of aluminum or blackened plastic or the like is provided to the front of the waterproof housing, and the camera 30 is housed in the waterproof housing 10. The port 20 has an aperture 20b for guiding luminous flux from a subject to the photographic lens 32 of the camera 30, and glass 22 is fit in the aperture to constitute the transmission window through which the light is transmitted to the photographic lens 32. A light shielding ring 40 with a ring-shaped plate member 44 composed of rubber is attached to its periphery is mounted on the photographic lens 32 and overhangs in the radial direction of the periphery of the photographic lens 32 in the port 20 so as to interrupt the advance of the light going toward the transmission window (glass 22) from the inside of the waterproof housing 10.
