PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily deposit and arrange fine particles such as carbon nanotube or the like at a necessary place, which is difficult to handle in a conventional method.

SOLUTION: An optical waveguide structure body provided with an optical waveguide having an end face which partially includes an exposed part of the optical waveguide is prepared, the end face is dipped in an medium in which the fine particles are dispersed, laser light is emitted from the exposed part of the optical waveguide, thus the fine particles are selectively deposited at the position where the optical waveguide is exposed and/or the vicinity of the exposed part of the optical waveguide.
