PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of minimizing the degradation of air distributing performance while generating ions at the blow out opening, and simultaneously reducing flapping noise. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises a fan 5, a stabilizer 7, a rear guider 9, a heat exchanger 6, the supply opening 11 for supplying the air after exchanging heat in the heat exchanger 6, and a block 8 disposed on an inner end portion of an air ventilation flue faced to the supply opening 11 of the rear guider 9 and forming a flow channel throttling portion, and the block 8 also acts as an ion generator generating ions, thus a supply speed at an end portion can be improved by the block 8, the generation of unstable airflow is prevented, and turbulent airflow can be restricted. Further intermittent noise such as flapping noise generated when ventilation resistance is increased because of accumulation of dust on the air filter 12, can be reduced. Further as the block 8 also acts as the ion generator, ions can be effectively diffused while minimizing the degradation of air distributing performance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
