<p>A disc brake device in which vibration or brake squeal phenomenon can be suppressed in a low slowdown region while a braking force in a high slowdown region can be increased. In the low slowdown region, the pressing face (6B2) at the distal end of a small diameter pressing portion (6B1) of an inner piston (first piston) (6B) presses the backing metal (7A) of a brake pad (7) at the center of the pressing face corresponding to the radial inside where the run out or tilt of a disc rotor (2) is small, and thereby vibration or brake squeal phenomenon is suppressed in the low slowdown region. In the high slowdown region, the radial outside pressing part (P) of the disc rotor (2) in the opening side end face (6A1) of an outer piston (second piston) (6A) presses the backing metal (7A) of the brake pad (7), and thereby a braking force in the high slowdown region increases as compared with a braking force in the low slowdown region.</p> |
