<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of easily understandably displaying the replacement of pattern columns by simple processing in a game machine for varying and displaying a plurality of patterns for drawing on the screen of a pattern display device. <P>SOLUTION: On the screen 20a of the special pattern display device 20 of a Pachinko machine 10, the plurality of patterns for drawing is variably displayed in three display areas. The variable display of special patterns in the three display areas is stopped, the pattern column of "-, 7, -" is enlarged and displayed in an upper stage display area C1, and the pattern column of "6, -, 7" is reduced and displayed in a middle stage display area C2.
