The dishwasher (110) has a lower frame (112), and a rinsing chamber (120) with a hood (118) partially covering the rinsing chamber. A condensate precipitation device (124) is connected with the rinsing chamber in the closed hood. The condensate precipitation device has a blower (142) for extraction of steam and/or air from the closed rinsing chamber. The condensate precipitation device has a condensing surface (140) for condensing the steam. The condensate precipitation device is held entirely or partially in a rear wall and/or a frame connecting the lower frame and the hood.
