PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an existing pipe repair method and system capable of uniformly and accurately injecting a filler in a clearance existing between an existing pipe and a manufactured lining pipe after inserting the manufactured lining pipe in the existing pipe. SOLUTION: The inserting direction front end of the manufactured lining pipe 12 is blocked, and a space, existing ahead in the inserting direction of the manufactured lining pipe 12, in the existing pipe 10 is formed as a filler filled region X filled with the filler over a predetermined length. The inserting operation of the manufactured lining pipe 12 into the existing pipe 10 is performed while thrusting the blocked front end into the filler filled region X, and the filler filled region X is sequentially formed extending in the inserting direction with the progress of inserting operation of the manufactured lining pipe 12. Air does not thereby remain in the clearance between the manufactured lining pipe and the existing pipe, and the uniformly filled state of the filler is ensured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
