<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission wherein lubricating oil can be safely and inexpensively supplied to a power roller and its bearing portion, which is a thrust ball bearing, without impairing the strength of a trunnion. <P>SOLUTION: The toroidal type continuously variable transmission comprises a lubricating oil supply member 200 having one end 200a for receiving lubricating oil to be supplied to a pivotal shaft 14 of the trunnion 15 and the other end 200b opened in opposition to the power roller 11, and arranged on the opposite side to the trunnion 15 extending from the power roller 11.
