PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bent capable of delivering a distributed divergent air flow with the predominant direction of a flow that can be changed within a wide range of mutually perpendicular directions. SOLUTION: The air bent comprises an outlet grid (30) having multiple outlet openings. The outlet grid is comprised of parallel grid vanes (30a-30e) that are pivotally mounted in a frame. The grid vanes are jointly movable to assume pivotal positions where they form a substantially continuous grid surface.
