PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable and/or hose support device of a machine tool, which can reduce the entire length of a cable or a hose, and allows the cable or the hose to adequately trace a moving body. SOLUTION: The support device 10 is set up by erecting a fixed support 11 having a drum 12 arranged at an upper edge thereof, in the vicinity of a portal machining center 1, connecting a lower end of a chain link 13 for supporting the hose 14 along an extension direction of the same, to an intermediate portion of the fixed support 11, and connecting an upper end of the chain link 13 to a main shaft head 5 via the drum 12.
