<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method for improving the reduction of resolution of the depth direction of an OCT image. <P>SOLUTION: An OCT interference signal smoothing means 16 smoothes an OCT interference signal (spectrum interference signal) of the A scan direction by summing it in the B scan direction and taking the average, a spectral envelope detecting means 17 determines a spectral envelope signal with respect to the smoothed OCT interference signal, an inverse filter creating means 18 determines an inverse filter for correcting the spectral envelope signal so that it has a Gaussian distribution based on the spectral envelope signal, and an envelope correcting means 19 corrects the OCT interference signal (spectrum interference signal) with the inverse filter, and improves the reduction of the decomposition of the depth direction of the OCT image originating in the spectrum of a light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
