PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional wrapped sanitary napkin with a pattern printed on an individual wrapping only, wherein a request for making the absorbed menstrual blood inconspicuous cannot be satisfied and wherein the cost of printing is increased if patterns are printed also on a napkin body. SOLUTION: A top sheet 9 is made of a nonwoven fabric or plastic mesh sheet with a number of pores, and is composed of a main top sheet 9a layered on an absorber 7 and two left and right side top sheets 9b and 9b disposed on both sides of the main top sheet 9a and bonded to a back sheet 5 in side end parts of the napkin. The pattern is printed on the whole surface of the absorber in the back sheet 5, and the pattern can be seen through the outer surface. The degree of transparency of a wrapping sheet 21 is set so that the pattern printed on the back sheet 5 can be visually recognized through the wrapping sheet 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
