PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation-curable matrix composition suitable for being used in a matrix material of optical fiber tapes. SOLUTION: The matrix material comprises at least two species of non-silicone urethane (meth)acrylate oligomers, one or more species of polyfunctional diluents and one or more species of optical initiators. Number average molecular weights of the non-silicone urethane (meth)acrylate oligomers are≥about 200 and < about 6,000, respectively and polydispersion indices (PDI) of the urethane (meth)acrylate oligomers are 2:1-30:1.
