PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic damping material which has excellent damping properties by itself without being combined with another material, is free from the restriction of the thickness or volume required for ensuring sufficient damping performance, and is easy to process. SOLUTION: This organic damping material comprises a polymer matrix phase and, incorporated therein, a dispersed phase comprising one or more compounds selected from p-(p-toluenesulfonylamido)diphenylamine, 4,4'-bis(α,α-dimethylbenzyl)diphenylamine, octylated diphenylamine, 2,2'-methylenebis(4-ethyl-6-tert-butylphenol), 4,4'-thiobis(3-methyl-6-tert-butylphenol), and N,N'-di-2-naphthyl-p-phenylenediamine.
