The invention relates to devices for securing fuel cells in vehicles. For this purpose, sensors (2, 5) are located in/on the stack housing (1), the sensors emitting a signal, or interrupting a signal circuit (6), upon a penetration of the stack housing (1) by means of an object or another strong deformation, which could also mechanically damage the stack (3), wherein the signal then causes the media supply (8) to the fuel cell stack (3) to be switched off, or the electric power circuit (9) of the fuel cell system, and possibly other units, to be interrupted by means of a monitoring device (7). |
