Modular optoelectronic component

The modular system of optoelectronic components has prefabricated transmission (1a), reception (1b) and/or transceiver components. Each component has a standardized housing with an arrangement for mechanical connection to at least one housing of a further component or for connection to such a connection arrangement. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) an optoelectronic component, especially for use in an inventive system.
