A display apparatus and a driving method thereof are provided to display the same images in different directions by varying an output sequence of an input image signal stored in a memory based on a direction control signal that is inputted from the outside. A display apparatus includes a display panel(300), a gate driver(400), a memory, and a data driver(500). The display panel includes plural pixels. The gate driver supplies gate signals to the pixels. The memory stores image signals on images of one frame and outputs a sequence converted image signal so as to convert the images symmetrically according to a control signal. The data driver converts the image signals of the memory into data voltages and supplies the converted data voltages to the pixels.
